Sep 24–27 — Festival in Delhi✦Sep 21–24 — Golden Triangle Tour
Four days for those who love to dance. Dedicated to those who are passionate about Tango.
Delhi proudly welcomes the internationally acclaimed duo Vanessa Gauch & Eşref Tekinalp for a unique festival dedicated to the art of movement, the inspiration of dance, and the profound communication of tango.
12 Minutes of Love is not just a title — it's a statement:
LOVE for the
embrace. LOVE for music. LOVE for the other.
Vanessa & Eşref will guide us through an experience rich in knowledge, sensitivity, and deep interpretation of movement. Through a complete program of workshops, special technique classes, performances, and unforgettable milonga nights, participants will have the opportunity to explore the essence of tango technique — as taught by two iconic figures of the international tango scene.
They own one of the largest tango schools in Istanbul. Their life is about traveling and giving workshops all over the world — Buenos Aires, Paris, Moscow, Amsterdam, Beirut, New York, Washington DC, Syracusa, Bucharest, Kassel, London, Turkey and India.
Vanessa has a broad dance education — she started her ballet lessons in France in 1986. Then came ballroom dancing, jazz, contemporary dance, and finally… tango.
She studied Argentine Tango with instructors Magui Danni & Annibal Pannunzio, Eugenia Unsandivarias & Leo Clavelli, Alejandro Sanguinetti, and Pablo Verón.
She created the BATA program (Argentine Tango Workshop for Women) while continuing to give group and private lessons at Boğaziçi, Yıldız Technical and Galatasaray Universities, and at the Malena, Montuno, Ewet and Dancentrum dance studios. Since 2010, she has been collaborating with the IstanbulTANGO dance school.
Eşref Tekinalp, a graduate of Istanbul Technical University's Faculty of Civil Engineering (Environmental Engineering), began dancing Tango in January 2003 with Suer Ünal. He spent a year and a half studying with Argentinian instructors Alicia Orlando – Claudio Barneix and Tanju Yıldırım, laying the foundations of his dance.
He then worked with leading dancers worldwide — Gustavo Naveira, Pablo Verón, Julio Balmaceda, Javier Rodriguez, Fabian Peralta, Sebastian Achaval, Esteban Moreno, Diego Riemer, Ezequiel Farfaro — developing his current style. Since 2006, he has been professionally teaching and performing in various cities in Turkey and on international platforms.
Eşref is the winner of the most prestigious Turkish award — 1st place in the 2010 "Turkey Championship of TDSF" (Turkish Dance and Sport Federation). He has been a member and judge of the TDSF Judging Panel since 2012, and is one of the organizers of 'tanGO TO istanbul', one of the largest tango festivals in Europe.
Together, Vanessa & Eşref bring decades of international experience, sensitivity, and a deep interpretation of movement — shaping the soul of the 12 Minutes of Love festival.
Bikaner House is a world-class cultural centre where heritage and legacy meet contemporary expression. Situated at the iconic India Gate hexagon, it was originally built as the Delhi residence of Maharaja Ganga Singh Ji of Bikaner and has since been transformed into a vibrant public arts space.

Along with that, it's also an opportunity to explore India and its heritage and culture. We are organizing the tour of major tourist attractions in Agra, Jaipur and Delhi for four days before the festival. For all participants we can also help arrange accommodation in Delhi during the festival.

En Route to India
Arrival in Delhi by early morning international flight. Meeting and assistance upon arrival, followed by transfer to hotel for rest and breakfast.
Later, drive to Agra. In the afternoon, visit the Agra Fort and the legendary Taj Mahal.
The Taj Mahal was built by Shah Jahan in memory of his queen Mumtaz Mahal. This perfectly proportioned masterpiece in white marble is a testament to the skill of 20,000 craftsmen from Persia, Turkey, France and Italy who took 17 years to create this extraordinary monument of love. (Closed on Fridays.)
The Agra Fort contains the halls of private and public audiences and other palaces. Shah Jahan spent years of confinement here at the hands of his son Aurangzeb, gazing wistfully at the Taj Mahal from the Fort.
Check in, dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Morning after breakfast, drive to Fatehpur Sikri — the abandoned city built by Emperor Akbar, located 40 km from Agra. Akbar used it as his capital and the city was fully occupied for 14 years before being deserted due to scarcity of water.
Next, stop at Abhaneri village to admire the beautiful 16th-century step well (Bauli).
Proceed to Jaipur and check in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Fatehpur Sikri
Breakfast at hotel. After an early breakfast, proceed for a photo stop at Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), then continue to Amber Fort with an elephant ride (subject to availability).
Amber Fort is known for its artistic style and Rajput architecture, with large ramparts, a series of gates, and cobbled paths. The fort overlooks Maota Lake, once the main water source for the palace.
Later, visit the City Palace.
In the evening, enjoy a short ride through the colourful local markets of the Pink City by e-rickshaw.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Morning after breakfast, drive back to Delhi.
Afternoon, visit Old Delhi: the magnificent Jama Masjid, one of India's largest mosques built by Shah Jahan between 1650–1656. All around lies Chandni Chowk (Moonlight Square) — one of the oldest and largest wholesale markets in India for clothes, spices, and dry fruits. From the mosque, admire the imposing Red Fort, designed by Shah Jahan's daughter Jahanara.
Drive past colonial buildings to Raj Path, a ceremonial boulevard running from the President's House through Vijay Chowk (Victory Square) and India Gate, a war memorial dedicated to 70,000 soldiers of the British Indian Army.
Later, visit the Qutub Complex, filled with exquisite monuments from the Delhi Sultanate dating back to the 12th century. The Qutub Minar is a spectacular minaret and "victory tower" — a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
